What is the Library Advisory Board?
The Douglas County Library System Advisory Board is an advisory body that assists and advises the Library Director and the Board of Commissioners on matters concerning the library. In addition the board makes policy and budget recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. The seven members of the Board are appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Members serve four year terms.
When does the Library Board meet?
The Library Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at noon in the Library Board Room of the Douglas County Central Library in Roseburg.
